These are the last-minute Valentine’s hotel deals to book now

By Yay Cork February 6, 2019February 6, 2019

In need of a night away à deux?

Whether you’re marking an important anniversary or just escaping a houseful of kids for 24 hours, a couple’s escape should be worth the splurge.

With a babysitter sorted and the luggage in the boot, why waste half the day driving when you can enjoy a perfectly blissful getaway from normal life within 30 minutes of your home?

Start the car; here are four local Valentine’s hotel deals to book now:

1. The Imperial Hotel

If a night out in Cork City Centre is more your speed, kick off the evening at The Imperial Hotel (€228 per room). Enjoy chocolate-dipped strawberries in your room before a four-course candlelit dinner in The Pembroke Restaurant with a glass of Prosecco.

Later, a romantic turndown with rose petals and Lily O’Brien’s Chocolates will set the scene for a romantic evening in your room.

Wake up to a full Irish Buffet Breakfast the following morning. Book here.

2. The Radisson Blu, Little Island

Book the Radisson’s Valentine’s Package for a stay between February 13th and 18th (€89pps) and they’ll treat you to B&B in a superior room.

Loved up guests will also enjoy chocolate and prosecco on arrival, a three-course Valentine’s dinner and complimentary access to the Spa and Fitness Club. Book here.

3. Castlemartyr Resort

Available from February 12th-18th, 2019 the Castlemartyr Romantic Escape (€245) includes an overnight stay in a Deluxe room, a two-course meal in the Bell Tower with a complimentary glass of prosecco per person and a full Irish breakfast the next morning.

Guests will also find a red rose and chocolates in their room at turn down and can enjoy full access to the Resort’s pool, Health Club, jacuzzi and steam room. Book here.

4. The Blue Haven, Kinsale

The Cosy Kinsale Treat package (€129pps, midweek only) will nab you a blissful two nights in the gourmet capital of Ireland. The deal includes two nights luxury accommodation at either the Blue Haven Hotel or the five-star Star Old Bank House, a gourmet breakfast each morning, one evening meal and an afternoon tea.

Extras include home baked cookies on arrival, King Koil Pocket Sprung Beds, Pillow Menus, Dyson Supersonic Hairdryers, hot water bottles and hot ports by the fire. Bliss. Book here.
