Struggling with Veganuary?

Here’s some good news on the food front: The Liberty Grill is offering customers a unique chance to try a veggie or vegan dish from their menu without sacrificing the best meal of the week if you don’t like it.

One of Cork’s most revered brunch spots, the Washington Street restaurant will replace the offending veggie or vegan plate with your second choice if it’s not to your taste.

The thing is, even dedicated carnivores would be hard pressed not to devour the Apple & Cinnamon French Toast (poached apple dusted with cinnamon on pan-fried sourdough topped with toasted flaked almonds and maple soy yogurt) or the Spiced Honey Halloumi Burger.

Still, if you’ve always been curious about the Tempeh Gyros or the Chipotle Jackfruit Enchilada, this could be just the reassurance you need to dip a toe into plant-based cuisine.

Brunch is served from noon until 5pm from Monday to Saturday.
