5 BIG Cork New Year’s Eve parties where you can ring in ’24 in style

By Maria Wilson December 28, 2023December 17, 2023

The countdown is around the corner.

As the clock ticks away the final moments of the year, there’s no better way to bid adieu to the old and welcome the new than by celebrating in style.

Say farewell to 2023 and welcome 2024 in style with these fabulous New Year’s Eve parties across Cork.

All about Drag at The Pav

Count down to 2024 with Mockie Ah’s NYE Party at The Pav with over seven hours of dancing across two floors, six DJs, two drag shows featuring The Haus of Mockie Ah, and special guests. Love it. Tickets are €15 and can be nabbed here.

Downton Abbey Vibes at The Eccles

Step back into the 1920s at the New Year’s Eve Downton Ball hosted at Eccles Hotel. Enjoy a cocktail jazz reception, a five-course gourmet dinner by award-winning chef Eddie Atwell, and hot swing jazz by Cork’s own The Darktown Strutters.

Immerse yourself in the glamorous atmosphere, Lord and Lady Crawley style. Tickets for non-residents are €75. (Psst, Yay Cork has teamed up with the Eccles Hotel to send one lucky reader and their guest to the NYE Ball. Find out more here)

DeBarras’ Big Bash

Back by popular demand, DeBarra’s New Year’s Eve Bash returns to close out 2023 and usher in 2024. With a transformed venue, balloon festoons, DJ Gustaff’s garden party, and live bands Andrew & Kate Whelton and the Black Apple Bastards ringing in the New Year, this event promises a night of excitement. Tickets, priced at €20, can be bought here.

Bodypainting at Crawford & Co

Join the Brazilian White & Sparkling NYE Party at Crawford & Co. With three performances, two rooms, a professional photographer, a photo booth, body painting, games, giveaways, and performances by Kalinke, Bruno Mendes, and Phelps, this is set to be a big night.

Early Bird ticket holders receive a free Red Bull cocktail, and all tickets include a free glass of bubbles on arrival. Grab an early bird ticket for just €12 now.

Cruising with Aye

Join Aye for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration aboard The Spirit of Doolan for a boat party, before going back onshore to Aye on Anglesea Street for more dancing, bubbles, food, and festivities. DJ Rowan will be spinning the decks, and your ticket, priced at €50, includes a welcome glass of prosecco at Aye, access to the Boat Party, and entry to Aye Shore Party with tasting plates and a glass of sparkling to ring in the New Year.
