Everyone loves a taco.
The Mexican marvel is fast becoming a popular fixture on the Cork food scene, with a variety of traditional and not-so-traditional takes popping up all over the city and county.
Whether it’s authentic carnitas you’re craving, or a belly-busting taco bursting with everything from blue cheese to fries, there’s a creative cook who’s got your back.

YERMANOS’ ARRIVED IN BALLYDEHOB
With one of the best names for a taco truck we’ve heard in ages and some cool merch designed by Liam Nash and printed by Goleen-based print apparel shop Two Dogs Waiting, Yermanos Taqueria is now open in Ballydehob.
The food truck will be serving a tasty compact menu of tasty authentic Mexican tacos outside Ballydehob Community Hall on Thursdays and Saturdays from 5pm until they sell out.

THURSDAY TACOS (WITH BOOZE… AND SOMBREROS)
Looking for some soakage to sort you out for a night of thirsty Thursday pints? Thursday night is taco night at Sober Lane.
Expect tacos, free sombreros, themed cocktails and shooters. And book a morning off on Friday if you can.

TACOS, BUT MAKE ‘EM FRENCH
Sacre bleu! If you thought the Mexicans had the taco game all wrapped up, think again. Over on MacCurtain Street, French taco spot Creme French Cork are luring hungry customers across the bridge for their decadent cheesey creations.
Try the Signature Lyon, a monster feed filled with burger sauce, chicken goujons, minced beef, turkey ham, onions, blue cheese, French fries and fromagère.
