Youghal is rolling out the Pride flag for a family-friendly beach party this weekend

Been refining your sandcastle skills all summer?
A sandcastle building competition will be a popular fixture in the schedule for this year’s Youghal Pride By The Sea, celebrate the LGBT+ communities of East Cork in the seaside town this Saturday
The fun will begin on September 10th at 12pm at the Claycastle car park, running until 3pm with beach games, a boardwalk promenade, live music along and a range of health and information stalls for visitors to peruse.
The launch of Youghal Pride By the Sea 2022 kicked off in Youghal Council Chambers recently where chief organiser Hayley Fox-Roberts presented a Progress Rainbow Pride flag to Lorraine Hogan of Youghal Town Council and Cork County Council, where the flag will proudly fly over the Town Hall over the next few days.
“We are so looking forward to hosting Youghal Pride by the Sea, everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun as we celebrate the LGBT+ community of Youghal!” said Fox Roberts.
