Batten down the hatches.
Or at least dig out a pair of wellies and a good umbrella.
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow Rainfall warning for Cork, with a deluge forecast to begin at midnight tonight and continue until Thursday afternoon, November 21st.
Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford are also in for a drenching.
The rest of today will continue bright and sunny in Cork (better get those jobs done quickly) before ‘heavy and prolonged’ showers begin later tonight with downpours possible in south and temperatures of between three and five degrees.
There’s a risk of spot flooding too so be careful about where you park your car, particularly on the quays in Cork City Centre.
