This is when WOWBURGER will open their doors in Cork

It couldn’t be better timing.
The first ever WOWBURGER in Cork city opens its doors this weekend, serving up their famous burgers, chilli-drenched fries and creamy shakes to Christmas shoppers at 4-5 South Main St.
The new eatery launches this Saturday, December 16th at 12 noon, with a special launch party scheduled for the following Tuesday for Rebel burger enthusiasts.
The brand opened their very first burger hut in The Workman’s Club, Wellington Quay, Dublin two years ago, adding another WOWBURGER in the basement of hardware and pints emporium Mary’s Bar & Hardware on Wicklow St soon afterwards. Two more WOW restaurants opened up later in the year in Ranelagh and Tallaght and with a further two WOWs on the way to Dublin’s Parnell St and Wexford St the company is making its first foray out of the capital, hitting South Main Street in Cork.
WOW patties are made up of three different cuts of the finest Irish beef; apparently the marbling makes the burger extra-tasty. The brand’s buns are made especially for them; they’re part brioche, part bun so they absorb juices and don’t fall apart – the perfect vehicle for their monstrous burgers.
You can add as many toppings as you like – from grilled mushrooms and onions, to jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, pickles, hot sauce and WOWsauce all for FREE on your burger.
Fancy sinking your teeth into a WOWBURGER before anyone else? We’ve teamed up with the WOW crew to offer one YayCork reader the chance to bring FOUR friends to WOWBURGER tomorrow (Friday) for free burgers. All you need to do to enter is tag the four friends you would like to bring with you below…
