Winter calls for boozy brunch (and there’s a brand new bottomless menu to try)

It’s typically the dullest month of the year.
But if you’re determined to start 2023 as you mean to continue, the Coal Quay is a good place to start.
The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega just unveiled a brand new brunch menu, with an option to go bottomless (that’s 1.5hrs of limitless drinking) every weekend.
The list of dishes is extensive, so you can be sure that everyone in your party will be happy, from the veggies and vegans to the sugar addicts and the carnivores.
There’s a brunch burrito, eggs Benny, and a chorizo hash, as well as The Smash; smashed avocado, sweet potato and baby blue kale topped with salsa matcha on sourdough toast and fish tacos (the Baja Via Ballycotton with crispy slaw and chipotle aioli) to choose from.
The Bowl of Seoul looks tasty too; Korean fried chicken stripes, wings in Bulldog sauce, kimchi slaw and hot honey.
Even the hungover are carefully catered for with The Cure 8; thick-cut craft bacon on a brioche bun with homemade brown sauce and fried potatoes and a full-on Sunday Roast available too, with all the trimmings.

Order skinny fries or healthy kale, avocado, edamame, and cress on the side, and share the FTFB (pumpkin spice French toast, whipped cream, maple syrup, and praline pecan nuts) for dessert.
You can make any dish boozy with prosecco, mimosas, or a bloody Mary on the side, but €25pp will get you bottomless brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.
