Wednesday is World Margarita Day – here are two Cork spots doing spicy drinks deals

It’d be rude not to.
Wednesday, February 22nd is World Margarita Day across the globe and if ever there was a reason to finish a boring old Hump Day with a cocktail, this is it.
Of course, it’s an expensive business being alive these days, so we do appreciate a decent deal when it comes to midweek treats.
Happily, the kindly folks behind the bar at some of the city’s best margarita spots have come up with some enticement to lure us in with lashings of tequila, triple sec, and lime.
For example, if you’re in the mood for a Mexican-themed meal to go with your tipple, head for Tequila Jacks, where Wednesdays are the new Tuesdays when we’re talking about tequila.
The City Quarter restaurant serves two-for-one margaritas every Wednesday from 5pm – walk-ins welcome.

At The Liberty Bar on South Main Street you can enjoy fresh margaritas for €8 from 5pm on Wednesday.
Stick around and from 8pm you can catch the launch of INPUT, “a new weekly journey through multiple genres in the intimate and relaxed vibes”, upstairs at Resistance.
Input will take place weekly from 8pm, with guest DJs every week.
