WEATHER: Dry and sunny for the week as Met Éireann predicts highs of 24C in Cork

It’s all about that high pressure.
Met Éireann forecasters have once again uttered the two magic words, with high pressure dominating our weather in Cork for the coming week.
Temperatures will remain in the high teens or low twenties across Munster and it looks like we can already start planning the weekend because the balmy weather is sticking around.
“Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be warm, dry, and largely sunny days.” said a forecaster, adding that we can expect highest temperatures of 18 to 23 or 24 degrees generally.
Best dust off the barbecue and fill up the paddling pool.
“The nights will remain dry and clear with overnight temperatures of 7 to 12 degrees.
“Current indications suggest that high pressure will continue to dominate our weather for Friday and the weekend. It will stay largely dry with spells of sunshine and temperatures reaching the high teens or low twenties, possibly reaching the mid-twenties in some western spots.”
