Warm days ahead as Cork temps hit the high teens for the weekend

Soak up that Vitamin D.
Cork will bask in glorious spring sunshine for the weekend and beyond as high pressure continues to dominate our weather.
It will be mostly dry this morning with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Any drizzle will gradually clear northwestwards with better spells of sunshine developing and highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees.
Tonight will be dry with lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees and Saturday is looking dry and largely sunny with highest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees.
Met Éireann says we can expect plenty of sunshine during the coming days with temperatures gradually increasing further, although it will remain chilly during the nights.
Sunday will be another dry and sunny day for most but cloudier conditions may develop in the southwest with the odd spot of drizzle possible near coasts. We can expect highest temperatures of 11 to 18 degrees.
Monday and Tuesday look set to bring sunny days and highs of up to 19C.
“High pressure will continue to dominate our weather for the rest of the working week bringing dry conditions with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures in the mid to high teens.” said a forecaster.
