Want more trees in Cork City? Turn up and ask for them at this open workshop
It’s easy to moan about the lack of city trees.
But if you want something to change, a good way to go about it is to show up and make your voice heard at the deciding stage.
And wouldn’t you know it, the very thing is happening this weekend, Saturday, August 16th on Fort Street in Cork City Centre.
Cork City Council is inviting everyone to have their say on how we green our streets. A community workshop session about the greening of Dean Street and Fort Street will run from 11am until 4pm so there’s loads of time to pop over and make your suggestions.

On the day a group planting sessions will also take place where people can bring home some herbs for their homes.
Can’t make it? No probs, You can still take the online survey to have your say here.
