To Kino, where coffee lovers are gathering to see a film about coffee

Attention, coffee obsessives.
Kino is showing a documentary on the story of AeroPress – from its inventor’s workshop in California to the stages of the AeroPress Championships around the world.
Exploding onto the market in 2005, the globally-beloved coffee press is now sold in over 60 countries, with a cult following in each. Its inventor, Alan Adler, maintains that the device produces a richer, smoother coffee with no bitterness in less than 30 seconds.
Described by fans as the best coffee film of 2018, AeroPress Movie by European Coffee Trip explores what makes people so excited about this odd looking yet iconic coffee maker.
Presented by the Irish chapter of the Specialty Coffee Association, the screening will be preceded by an AeroPress competition using the Coffee Brewing Dice, a set of five dice that will produce one of 7,776 different potential recipes for how to brew your AeroPress.
The screening takes place on Sunday, May 12th, 2019 from 6pm-10pm at Kino, Washington Street, Cork. Tickets are free but you must register first.
