This tiny Cork village has a SUPER impressive festival planned

Here’s a team that knows how to punch above its weight.
The fourth annual Tracton Arts Festival will take place from July 5th to the 8th in a restored Georgian former schoolhouse in Minane Bridge, Cork – and they’ve only gone and booked The Hothouse Flowers as their headline act.
The all-volunteer team have laid on four days of entertainment with an eclectic mix of art, drama and music planned, in addition to workshops and demonstrations of painting techniques, raku pottery firing and bronze casting.
Over 41 artists will exhibit for the duration of the festival, which has a whopping 30 different events, including a 10am yoga session on Saturday and a Seaweed Foraging Walk on Sunday.
Nice.
Music concerts over the weekend will feature folk trio, Greenshine, and Cork duo, Ye Vagabonds.
There will be comedy cabaret in the theatre on Saturday with Snatch Comedy Improv and Deirdre O’Kane, while on Sunday morning you can drop by for a screening of the beautiful animated film Loving Vincent.
The community wood fired oven will be serving fresh pizza from the get-go and the fun begins with a free gig by funky soul band, Musical Brotherhood on Thursday, July 5th.
The Hothouse Flowers will close the festival on Sunday evening, July 8th.
