It’s so much easier than you think.
Upcycling furniture is not just a fun hobby; done well it can save you a ton of money on pricey pieces for your kitchen, living room and bedrooms.
Now an award winning workshop promises to send you home with all the necessary skills and a brand new piece of furniture to kick start your new upcycling obsession.
Delivered by Joanne Condon of Kyle Lane, author of Furniture Crush, the workshop will take place on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 from 10am until 5pm in the Cricket Club.
During the day, the tutorials will cover a variety of different techniques to enhance and transform your furniture.
Suitable for both beginners and more accomplished DIYers, the workshop teach participants the following skills:
- Preparing and painting furniture
- Applying wallpaper/gift paper/maps etc. to furniture
- Transferring lettering and typography to furniture
- Techniques and creating geometric designs
- Applying gold leaf
- Distressing and ageing furniture effectively
Every person who takes the workshop will go home with a small item such as a locker as well as a booklet of course content. A light lunch will also be served.
