This theatre show invites you inside a very unique Irish funeral

You can’t beat a good Irish funeral.
But just in case you haven’t had reason to attend one lately, an upcoming theatre performance will more than fill the void.
Looking Deadly, with Niamh McGrath and Keith Singleton, is on the way to the Everyman, promising a macabre night out with a fun twist; the audience is part of the performance.
The play tells the story of two rival funeral directors in small town Ireland.
Guests are welcomed by the actors, paying their respects at the door on the way in.
They say: ‘Yeah it’s sad… but ya know what’ll help with that? Kind words, hang sangwiches, a glass of warm porter, milky tea and a fight over who thought more of the dearly departed.’
It all happens at The Everyman from September 11th -13th. Tickets (€20/€18) are available here.
