This seaside foraging walk is followed by a stunning five-course dinner

Grab a mate and head west.
A unique food event celebrating the flavours of the sea and the wild landscape of West Cork is set to take place later this spring.
Spring Tide – A Meal of the Sea & From the Wild will take place on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, inviting guests to experience an evening that blends coastal foraging with a seasonal five-course supper inspired by Italian cuisine.
The event will begin with an optional guided foraging walk along the coastline, where participants can discover the seaweeds and wild spring plants that grow along the Atlantic shore.

Local foragers Samuel Keane and Jen Doran will lead the walk, sharing their knowledge of the area’s edible plants and coastal ecosystem before guests gather by a fire pit for a welcome bite.
The evening continues at long communal tables where diners will be served a five-course menu celebrating seasonal and foraged ingredients. The dishes are inspired by classic Italian flavours but with a distinctly West Cork twist, featuring fresh pasta, spring greens and seaweed harvested from the nearby coast.
The kitchen will be led by Epi Rogan, formerly of The Glass Curtain and Paradiso, alongside Sophia St. Clair from Goleen Harbour.
Organisers say the event is inspired by the spring tides, when the sea pulls back further than usual and reveals more of what’s growing along the shoreline.
Two dinner seatings are available on the evening at 5pm and 7.30pm, while the optional foraging walk will take place earlier at 3.30pm. Tickets cost €55 for the five-course dinner, or €70 for the dinner and foraging experience combined, with vegetarian options available for guests who request them when booking.
