This rustic Field Kitchen is the setting for a series of festive feasts in December

In the market for a festive dinner with a difference?
If you’ve exhausted all your favourite city haunts and you’re ready to try something new, it’s no surprise you’ll find it in West Cork.
Just 6km outside Clonakilty, Camus Field Kitchen in Ardfield is an organic on-farm licensed restaurant that serves home-grown and locally sourced fresh food from its surrounding 30 acres.
This year they’re laying on a Christmas Feast at 7pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from December 3rd until Sunday, December 18th, with an extra date for Women’s Little Christmas on January 6th, 2021.
Tucked into the hillside and surrounded by trees, dinner is served in the spacious dining hall under wooden beams and beside a cosy log-burning stove.
“Our Christmas menu will feature either goose, duck, or beef depending on availability,” they say.
“Place your trust in our Head Chef, Bob Cairns, who will source, prepare and cook a series of carefully crafted dishes that will flow to your table as the afternoon unfolds.”
Vegetarian and vegan alternatives will also be available. To book your table, call or 023 886 9199 or check out the booking calendar at fieldkitchen.ie.
