This pop-up shop will sell pre-loved kids’ clothing (and it’s all in aid of the children of Gaza)

It’s a lovely way to show your support.
Monks Lane restaurant in Timoleague is hosting a pop-up shop where visitors can buy pre-loved clothing in aid of struggling charities working on the ground in Gaza.
Tess’ Boutique will open at the venue from 10am to 2pm this Saturday, February 24th with pre-loved children’s clothing and ladieswear as well as shoes and accessories.
Money raised on the day will go to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund and the Gaza Paediatric Care Initiative, the latter set up by a team of medical professionals based in Ireland to help children caught in the crossfire of the current conflict.
Support for the event has already been generous, with many donations and spot prizes collected already.
“It’s truly amazing, we have a wonderful community.” said organiser Therese O’Shea, whose daughter Tess (8) came up with the idea for the fundraiser.

“This is a war on children, my heart breaks at how much they have and continue to suffer, I can’t imagine the terror and fear they face minute by minute. We’ll do what we can to raise as much money to help the children of Gaza on the 24th of February.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”
If you can’t make the event on Saturday, you can donate via the GoFundMe here.
