This outdoor movie night is happening in Fitzgerald’s Park

It’s the perfect ending to an idyllic summer.
Cork film lovers are invited to pack a picnic for an outdoor movie night in Fitzgerald’s Park on Saturday, September 1st.
The al fresco screening of The Greatest Showman is hosted by Happenings Cork, who have teamed up with 7Up and Cork City Council to create fun events in public spaces.
Organisers hope that a favourable weather forecast will allow Cork film lovers to grab their mates and some picnic blankets for a memorable end-of-summer evening under the stars.
The city centre park will be transformed into a pop-up outdoor cinema with entertainment and delicious food also available on site.
This enchanting film tells the story of circus master P.T Barnum, a tailor’s son who became the ringmaster behind the “Greatest Show on Earth”.
Tickets are available here or on the gate for €5 (plus booking fee). Gates open at 7.30pm and the film will begin at dusk (around 9pm).
