This new VIP lounge just opened at Cork Airport and it is SWANKY

Well la-di-da.
If you can’t stand mingling with civilians as you wait for your flight to be called (or you just need a quiet spot to get some work done during a business trip), then this could be the news you’ve been waiting for.
The new executive lounge is now open at Cork Airport… and it is swanky indeed.
The first Airport Aspire Lounge to open in the Republic of Ireland is now taking bookings for guests.

Located in Departures, just after Craft Lane, the lounge overlooks the busy departure and arrivals area below.
Offering an ‘escape from the stress of airport terminals’, prices are from €24.99 per adult and opening hours are from 5am to 9pm daily.
Guests can kick back and soak up the zen atmosphere for three hours before a flight, with all the daily newspapers and magazines available to peruse before a flight and plenty of charging stations for phones and gadgets.
Drinks are free of charge, natch, and the menu includes Clonakilty Pudding, Cashel Irish Farmhouse Blue Cheese, Irish soda bread, Irish stew, Murphy’s Irish Stout, Tayto crisps and, naturally, Barry’s Tea.
The best bit? You don’t have to be part of an airline scheme or bank scheme to enter the lounge …simply pre-book on the website whenever you fancy a travel treat.
