This new dog-friendly coffee dock is the ideal destination for a walkies date

By Yay Cork August 2, 2022August 2, 2022

Planning this week’s walkies?

If you enjoy heading out for a good stroll and a coffee with your canine companion, add this scenic new spot to your list.

Elle’s Coffee Dock is now open at Jamesbrook, East Ferry, in Midleton, serving up all the caffeinated drinks as well as some tasty cakes and ice cream for humans and an extra special treat or two for hairier customers.

The alfresco waterside café, a horse trailer that’s been tastefully converted into a coffee dock by owner Elle Ahern and her dad, Brendan, is inspired by Elle’s dachshund Milo, who features in the café’s cute logo.

As word has spread in the canine community, doggos have been turning up in their droves for Elle’s delicious ‘puppichinos’ and dog biscuits.

After a stroll around the many walkways to explore in the area, take the weight off your paws on a comfy bench outside Ella’s and enjoy the gorgeous views with your furry bestie.

Elle’s Coffee Dock is open 10am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Sunday and 10am to 3pm on Thursdays.
