Missing those big-screen movie nights?

With cinemas shut for the time being in line with Covid-19 social distancing rules, Lidl has come up with a new way to create some proper movie magic at home.

On June 11th the discount supermarket will be getting in a Philips Neopix Ace Projector, which delivers the ultimate home-cinema experience outdoors with Wi-Fi screen mirroring and an integrated media player.

For €269.99, you’ll be able to kick back in the garden and watch your favourite films come to life on any wall. It works indoors as well so you can hook it up to Netflix or YouTube to enjoy your favourite shows in your bedroom or living room.

You can even take it camping (line up The Blair Witch Project for that one).

If you don’t have a blank surface to project onto, you can also pick up a Celexon Projector Screen (€69.99) with adjustable height to facilitate any space and a nifty tri-pod stand so you don’t have to worry about mounts and drills.

And that’s not all; as movie marathons reach an all-time high, Lidl Ireland has all the goodies you need for your movie-night menu, with cinema worthy treats like Snaktastic Microwaveable Popcorn and Gelatelli American Style Ice Cream Tubs  – the perfect al fresco treat as nights get warmer.
