This legendary festival just announced a winter edition – in the FRENCH ALPS

By Yay Cork March 9, 2018March 9, 2018

This will be the trip of a lifetime for snow bunnies.

One of the world’s most popular music festivals is transforming the magical landscape of the French Alps into a fantasy land for grown-ups this time next year.

The legendary Belgian music festival Tomorrowland has announced a winter edition, set to take place in the winter sports resort ‘Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski’ in March 2019 – and it looks absolutely epic.

Tomorrowland Winter will welcome more than 30,000 music lovers from around the world, covering the entire ski area with a variety of stages, including a mainstage specially developed exclusively for this edition at the foot of the ski trails.

The theme? ‘The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus’.

Festival goers will enjoy the world’s hottest DJs and the freshest acts, as well mind-blowing decor and sensational food served in unexpected places – all happening at an altitude of 1860 metres.

The ski resort Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski is blessed with over 300 days of sunshine a year, earning the title ‘Île du Soleil’ (Island in the Sun).

At the heart of the area is the village of Alpe d’Huez, at an altitude of 1,860m, which will serve as base camp for the festival.

After -ski activities on offer include helicopter rides, dog sledding, ice skating and snow shoeing and the shopping in Alpe d’Huez is top notch.

Your festival ticket grants access to the Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski, which will be reserved during the festival exclusively for holders of Tomorrowland Winter tickets, making the experience that much more unique. Guests can choose either a four-day or seven-day ticket including access to the festival, accommodation and a lift and ski-pass.

The four-day Tomorrowland Winter Packages start at €685.

This includes:
• 4 nights lodging (arrival on March 12th – departure on March 16th)
• Tomorrowland Festival admission (March 13th – 14th – 15th)
• Access to The Gathering (March 12th)
• four-day lift & ski pass
• Bracelet and treasure case shipment to your home
• City tax, service fee and payments cost

A seven-day Tomorrowland Winter Package is also available at €825 and both options will be open for booking in September.

Mark it in your diary and start saving… this is going to be unforgettable.
