This intriguing walking tour of Cork will be led by a local author

By Yay Cork August 10, 2020August 10, 2020

Here’s a handy way to combine exercise and a bit of culture.

Local author Tadgh Coakley will be leading a walking tour of Cork on Friday, August 21st, 2020, taking in the locations mentioned in his new book Whatever It Takes.

The One City One Book Walking Tour will meet at the City Library on the Grand Parade at 6pm on the day and the group will be exploring the city for around an hour.

Published by Mercier Press this month, Whatever It Takes follows Detective Garda Collins, who is at war with local criminal, Dominic Molloy.

The tense contemporary crime novel sees Garda Collins running out of time before the murder of two teenagers becomes inevitable (you can order a copy before the walk here).

Booking is essential so email patricia_looney@corkcity.ie if you’d like to reserve your place.
