The tide is finally changing at Cronin’s.
Earlier this year, the crew at the Crosshaven pub celebrated the re-opening of their third-generation, family-owned bar after a devastating flood hit the premises in August 2020, forcing its closure and a major renovation.
Now, owners Denis and Caroline are turning the key on a brand new offering in the old building; 2PointRoad, a coffee and gift shop located in an old shop adjoining the original pub.
“We are so excited to bring this beautiful space into its next chapter,” said the owners on Instagram.
“We call it the shop because it used to be one, The Little Food Shop, but it also used to be a post office, off-license, craft store and glorified storage room.”
The coffee and gift shop will open with treats and hot drinks, with more menu items-including breakfast and brunch- to be announced at a later date.
“The main focus will be on takeaway while we get our systems in place and develop a breakfast and brunch menu, but we do have a seating area to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee, and a cake or savoury from our cabinet.”
