This Halloween Costume Swap Shop is a scary good idea (and it’s open now)

Still got last year’s costume lurking in a wardrobe?
If you’re loathe to splash out on brand-new Halloween garb that will only be worn once while creating more clutter in your kids’ heaving wardrobes, a local group has come up with a genius solution.
A Halloween Costume Swap is now open in Passage West, inviting visitors to drop off unwanted Halloween costumes in return for a swap ticket that can be exchanged for a spooky new look.
The drop-off is open from October 10th to 14th at 53 Avondale Mews (Monday to Friday after 4pm) and at Passage West Creates at No. 3 Main Street in the town on Thursday and Friday. You can also donate without exchanging.

On Saturday, October 15th, you can bring your ticket to Passage West Creates between 10am and 11.30am and exchange it for a costume.
If you don’t have a swap ticket, you can pop in from 11.30am to 12.30pm and pick out a costume for €2 – all the proceeds go to Barnardos children’s charity too so it’s a win/win.
