A digital transformation

Fervor + Hue was one of five winners in the Virgin Media Backing Business initiative, which involved a complete digital transformation, enabling them to offer greater levels of e-commerce functionality.

Five Munster businesses were selected as winners, sharing a total of €100,000 in support. The investment is already paying off, with more customers than ever now shopping the brand’s website as well as dropping by the bricks and mortar store.

“Before Covid, our online sales accounted for just 10%, but now, thanks to our increased presence online, we have been able to expand beyond Cork and sell to people all across the country, almost doubling our revenue.” said store owner Stephen Jiang.

Located on the ground floor of the bustling Cornmarket Centre (just off Paul Street with another entrance off Cornmarket Street), Fervor + Hue’s gorgeous shop window is stuffed with gift inspo and ideas for every room in the house.

The store stocks a thoughtful selection of furniture chosen with stylish city homes and apartments in mind, as well as a choice of quality soft furnishings, cool lighting, wall art and eclectic decor.

“The past year has been incredibly difficult for a lot of SMEs, so we are extremely grateful for the Virgin Media Backing Business initiative and all the support we received in helping us not only to survive but to grow and thrive,” added Stephen.
