This flowery city parklet is hosting a weekly music sesh throughout July
You never know what you might happen upon in Cork.
That’s the beauty of living in our Leeside home; it’s full of surprises, even when you think you know it inside out.
One of the advantages of the pandemic parklet trend across the city was that it allowed people to rest, take the weight off, and enjoy a little slice of bliss when the weather permitted. And now, the people at Cork Flower Studio on Douglas Street are welcoming musicians to come and play in the seated oasis outside their little siopa and enjoy a sesh on the way home.
“Sun is out and the parklet is alive with music,” said the florists on Instagram, telling followers to come down every Friday in July to listen to a song or join in.
“Join us, Fridays in July, for a wind down on your way home.”
