This fabulous bakery is back with a Friday Cake Box that will make your day
Few things make us happier than cake.
Except, that is, for a heaving box containing many cakes – each one hand-made by one of our favourite local bakers.
Returning to the kitchen after a short break, Phoebe Milne of West Cork-based Angel Cakes is bringing back her popular Friday Cake Box – and you can get your hands on one (by collection only) in Clonakilty this week.
Each cake box will contain a selection of delectable cakes, biscuits, buns, and slices, many of which you may have seen on the mouthwatering Angel Cakes Instagram feed.

The boxes (30x30cm in size) are €30 each and will be available for collection from 5 Ashe St, Clonakilty on Friday, September 2nd at 10am.
“Last week some of my oldest childhood friends arrived in Clonakilty as a surprise,” Phoebe explained on Instagram.
“After a week of hiking, swimming, farming, eating, drinking and socialising, my friends have set off so I’ve decided to jump back into the kitchen and organise a cake box sale for this Friday 2nd of September.
“Please DM me if you’d like to place an order or have any other queries. Like always, orders sell out quickly so pop to it quickly so you don’t miss out!”
