Here’s some fun news for plant-based sugar fans.
Krispy Kreme is celebrating Veganuary with a brand-new limited-edition vegan doughnut range that has been officially registered by the Vegan Society.
On counter now at the St Patrick’s Street store, the Cookie Indulgence doughnuts will only be available until January 28th after Krispy Kreme launched a vegan version of their Kreme frosting, so plant-based fans don’t need to miss out on the crunchiest doughnut.
For those looking for an even more indulgent treat, the new Chocolate Cookie Crunch doughnut has it all – chocolatey icing, cookie crumb toppings, frosting, and a mini cookie crown.
“The Vegan Trademark team are thrilled to see Krispy Kreme expanding their vegan options and making them available across the country.” said Amelia Wallage, Account Manager at The Vegan Society.
“They’ve gone the extra mile to verify their vegan claims by registering with the Vegan Trademark. Those looking for a fresh and tasty doughnut can have peace of mind that this range is vegan certified so doughnut-lovers nationwide don’t have to miss out on their favourite treat.”
Both doughnuts are €3.75 each and you can get one until the end of the month.
