Cork is jam packed with amazing artists but it’s not always easy to find and purchase their work.

Now a new seaside store is giving art lovers a chance to get up close and personal with their creations.

A pop-up art shop run by seven artists has opened its doors in Kinsale. The gallery is located just off Temperance Hall on Begans Lane.

Not only is it a great spot to browse some really gorgeous work, you can also chat to the artist who made it when it’s their day to open the shop.

Leap-based artist Laura Wade’s work is currently on show inside. Working with ink wash on paper, Laura is inspired by West Cork and its landscape.

Baltimore artist, Anne Marie McInerney’s studio overlooks Church Strand, which provides her with daily inspiration.

Kerry Collins is a contemporary painter who works in oils, acrylics and charcoal.

The Pop Up Art Shop opens from Tuesday to Sunday, 11am to 6pm, with an Instagram feed showcasing each artist here. What better way to bring home a souvenir you’re guaranteed to enjoy forever?
