This cute camper might be the tiniest Airbnb in Cork

The best things come in small packages.
That’s especially true when it comes to bargain West Cork getaways, provided you book in at Teardrop Glamping near the bustling (and increasingly cool) village of Ballydehob.
Nestled in the heart of the property, with views from your door over Mount Gabriel, your Teardrop Sleeping Pod comes equipped with everything you will need for a rustic camping trip… without having to pitch a tent.
Sure, it’s probably not for the claustrophobic, but two cute campers offer electrical points, USB charging points, gas cookers, camping cutlery and utensils and an electronic cooler box.
What more do you need for a weekend in the great outdoors?
Each pod has a mattress and top sheet (bring your own sleeping bags, pillows and towels or rent them from the owners). Guests also have access to a shared toilet and shower room with hot water shower and visitors are welcome guests to explore the gardens and orchard.
With three friendly kittens, a goat called Dave and a playful labrador puppy on-site, it’s a pet-friendly spot to stay too. While you can’t keep your dog inside the camper (that would be a tight squeeze), there are some other options for cosy canine accommodation.
At just €40 per night (you can book in here), Teardrop Glamping has plenty of excellent reviews from guests, one of whom described the glamping pods as “Good for the soul and a fabulous base of you are spending a day or two in West Cork.”
