This cute café provides free pens and paper for letter writing

This is such a cool idea.
The ping of an email will never sound as sweet as the ‘thud’ of a handwritten envelope on the hall floor.
That’s why one West Cork café transforms into a peaceful space for putting pen to paper for a week in July.
The award-winning eatery Organico in Bantry is renamed The Letter Café during the West Cork Literary Festival from July 13th -20th.
It’s the perfect spot to take the time to write to your loved ones to let them know that you’re thinking of them or scribble a note to someone you love.
Complimentary stationery and pens are provided – all you have to do is find the words.
To inspire your efforts, drop by The Letter Café on the Thursday of the Festival for The Letters Page event with Jon McGregor.
The Letters Page is a literary journal in letters, published by the School of English at the University of Nottingham and edited by novelist and professor of creative writing Jon McGregor.
The Letters Page publishes essays, stories, poetry, memoir, travelogue, and criticism; but all in the form of letters.
Jon will be sharing his love of letters with attendees at 4pm. Download the full programme here.
