This cult book store is hosting a pop-up coffee shop

If you’re happiest with a good book and a mean Americano, put this in your diary.
It’s nearly Independent Bookshop Week and one of Cork’s last remaining independent bookshops has a ton of bookish fun planned.
Tuckey Street java slingers SOMA will be in Vibes & Scribes on Lavitt’s Quay on Sunday, June 17th, where they’ll run a pop-up coffee shop from 2pm to 5pm.
On Monday, June 18th, a photo booth will be set up on the shop floor so you can snap a picture of yourself dressed as your favourite literary character.
On Tuesday, June 19th, pop in between 7pm and 8pm for a music book special; ‘Let’s Talk About Books, Baby’, with Ronan Leonard and guests.
You can organise a blind date with a book on Wednesday, June 20th; pop in to Vibes & Scribes and they’ll have your date ready, just pick a book based on it’s opening line.
On Thursday you can nab a cheeky 10% off everything in-store, while on Friday there’s a Literary Table Quiz in aid of Cork Penny Dinners from 8pm (€20 per table of four).
With all that going on we’ll barely have time to finish another chapter.
