Everyone loves a good toastie.
And one Cork food truck duo are doing so well at their first location that they’re about to open a second spot to take advantage of the summer crowds.
Launched by sandwich aficionados Paul Moore and Mike O’Connor just 12 weeks ago, Toasted will be opening the hatch of a new box stall at the Marina Market this weekend, firing up the grill on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays initially.
The horsebox-turned-kitchen has been feeding visitors to Tramore Valley Park from Thursday to Sunday, with a menu of deliciously cheesey toasted sandwiches and spiced beef served with Rebel Chilli jam on offer.
There’s also Three Fools Coffee and Barry’s Tea aplenty, with cold Tanora to ease your thirst after a walk or a jog.
“It’ll be 12 weeks to the day since we opened this Friday and it has been some adventure. We’ve loved every minute and learned loads along the way.” the lads said, announcing the news on social media.
“We decided that one horsebox wasn’t enough so we have added a second. Starting this Friday, we are delighted to open our second unit in the @marinamarketcork. We’ll be open from Friday – Sunday on a trial period so we’d really appreciate your support.”
