This Cork spot is donating half their October profits to a Gaza crisis charity

“Our hearts are broken.”
The team behind vegan café and grocery shop My Goodness has announced it is donating half of October’s profits to a crisis charity working in Gaza.
The business, which has a busy counter in Cork English Market, will be donating to the organisation Palestine Red Crescent, which travels into war zones to help the injured and identify the dead.
“We will be donating half of our profit in @theenglishmarketcork for the month of October to support the people enduring the siege of Gaza.” the team said in an Instagram post.
“It’s almost impossible to not feel completely helpless and impotent during this time.

“We’re told to write to our elected officials and demand a stop to this genocide, which isn’t a bad idea. We can also march together to support Palestine and organise benefits for aid organisations.”
Palestine Red Crescent is an organisation they chose because of a personal connection:
“Our old friend and former cake maker, Linda, volunteered with them for six months and has harrowing tales of her experience,” they added.
“It’s almost impossible to get aid in now, but we will put a link in our bio to donate to them as soon as possible.”
