It’s tricky to get your togs and towel down there.
Still, the determined production team behind a new music video for Cork singer Aine O’Gorman managed to haul a full size piano into Kinsale’s stunning Nohoval Cove to shoot a selection of scenes on the cliff.
The atmospheric video for O’Gorman’s first release ‘Lydia’ was shot by Robin Guiton on location in the hidden beauty spot.
The little known cove boasts some of the most spectacular scenery in Cork, but it’s notoriously difficult to get to. All roads leading to the tiny beach are narrow and parking is limited.
It takes more than an hour to walk there from the nearest village.
The location didn’t stop Aine’s team however, with the entire video shot on location at Nohoval with the sea stacks and the ocean in the background.
Aine, who recently signed a deal with Atlantic Songs Music Publishing, recorded the track with Martin Leahy and it was mixed and mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Ryan Freeland in LA.
The video has been viewed more than 20,000 times so far. You can watch it in full below:
