This Cork group needs your spare buckets and shovels for two kids’ beach trips

Have your kiddos outgrown their sandcastles era?
If you still have a collection of buckets, shovels and other beach toys sitting in the shed, one Cork organisation would really appreciate them this summer.
The Child & Family Support Network in Cork has contacted The Toy Library toy-sharing app for a little help; they are organising two beach trips with children and families living in International Protection Centres and other Emergency Accommodation and they would love to have a plentiful supply of fun toys for the children to play with when they hit the sand.
All donations will be gratefully received so it’s a great opportunity to unearth the old beach bag, give the toys a rinse and pop them in a bag for an excellent cause.
They’re guaranteed to help a very worthy group make some special memories on the sand this summer.
“If you’re in the Cork area and you have any extra beach toys that your kids don’t use, please comment on this post, reach out to me directly or email info@thetoylibrary.ie.” said Giorgia Anile, a spokesperson for the Toy Library,
“I know together we can make a difference. Let’s do it!”
