This Cork draghaus is hosting a competition to find its next star performer
Be yourself, no matter what they say.
It’s time to break out the six-inch heels and start perfecting the death drop because Ireland’s up-and-coming drag haus, D’Beours is looking for the next icon of the stage to join their lineup.
D’Beours, led by Lucina Schynning, will be taking over The Pav to hold a series of drag competitions as part of an effort to facilitate safe spaces and create opportunities for up-and-coming talents. And everyone’s talent will be tested.
“The Schynning Star will be a four-week long drag gauntlet in which we challenge our competitors on every facet of their drag,” said D’Beours on Instagram.

The draghaus are looking for contestants who think that they stand a chance at being their Queen of the Constellation. And there are prizes to be won.
“Our ever-evolving prize hamper is currently valued at over €1000 and includes five paid performance opportunities, professionally styled drag hair, a crown and sash, and more,” they gushed.
