This Cork city street will be turned into a free pop-up playground for kids

More of this, please.
A Cork City street will be transformed into a pop-up playground for children on Saturday, April 13th… and it’s free to go along and enjoy it.
The city’s youngest citizens will be treated to games, music, dancing and chalk art on Marlboro Street this weekend as part of a joyous initiative by Let’s Play Cork.

This exciting initiative aims to bring a splash of creative play right into the heart of the city. It’s a place where kids can unleash their energy and explore freely, all within the watchful eyes of parents and guardians.
There’ll be hula-hooping and chats too, with a chance for young visitors to contribute ideas on spaces for creating urban play.
This isn’t just about fun and games, though there will be plenty of those. It’s a chance to see our city streets in a whole new light – as places for kids to (occasionally!) run wild and families to connect.
