This Cork city pub is serving some sunny Italian Aperitivo on Saturday evening

It’s one of the best Italian traditions.
And this weekend, Cork punters can experience the joys of the aperitivo at a city pub.
On Saturday, March 9th, The Friary Pub at the end of Shandon Street will be going all continental as chef Valentina from Da Mo’ Vale creates a spread of classic Italian snacks to enjoy with a drink from 5pm until 7pm.
With a selection of delicious classic Italian snacks on offer, a spritz to sip and atmospheric music to set the scene, you can while away a dull March evening with a taste of la dolce vita.

The menu will feature Roman pizza, focaccia and panzerotti made with fresh Italian products including stracciatella cheese, mortadella, spicy salami (spianata piccante), smoked scamorza, and salami napoli.
When in Rome…
