This city coffee shop has had a bold new makeover (and the new menu looks tasty AF)

You can’t miss it.
Washington Street coffee shop Pink Moon has had a bold new facelift, with a custom mural painted by street artist and guerrilla gardener Kevin O’Brien.
If you’re dropping by for a look and a cup of Joe (Pink Moon’s coffee beans come from Clonakilty’s Stone Valley Roasters) you can also check out the new autumn menu, which is packed with wholesome, cold weather goodies such as Breakfast Crumble with stewed apples and yoghurt.
For the hungrier among us, there’s a Lemon Curried Potato and Feta Pastry Roll and a Spicy Bacon Flattie, with hot cured bacon, sliced tomato and red chilli and lemongrass hot sauce in a fresh flatbread.
There’s plenty of creative vegan options too and you can mix and match ingredients in the Happy Hippy Bowl if you’re on a back-to-school health kick.
Work complete on this Pink Moon mural this morning (almost 😉)!

Kevin, who is the founder of Mad About Cork, has also been busy on the other side of the city, where he completed a brand new mural at Market Lane on Oliver Plunkett Street earlier this month.
More work on the Market Lane mural today. Bit more to do but almost there!#corkcitycentre pic.twitter.com/kLQPjDx2AM

Back in July, he finished a stunning mural on the front of the Idaho café on the newly pedestrianised Caroline Street, cleverly replacing a missing letter ‘o’ that had been stolen from the restaurant’s signage.
That’s a wrap… swing by Caroline St to see this one! 😉
Big thanks and much credit to the @theidahochef and @idahocafe for getting this done.
Best of luck with the reopening! #SupportLocal✊ #PureCork pic.twitter.com/GUBNVlV3LJ

Those who run city centre businesses know that muppets steal everything.
It’s how you respond, that is important 😉
So, when a muppet stole our “O” we asked @kevob777 to sort out our logo ✅ pic.twitter.com/yQaCW1JjYf
