This city Cinco de Mayo party looks absolutely epic

Wear your dancing shoes.
Ireland’s Largest Cinco de Mayo Fiesta is taking place at Tequila Jack’s Mexican Restaurant & Tequila Bar this weekend… and there’s a major night of fun planned.
While Cinco de Mayo traditionally celebrates the defeat of the French army during the Battle of Puebla in Mexico in 1862, this Cork bash is a celebration of cold cervezas and smokin’ hot bites.
It all begins with a margarita reception at 9pm at the Lapp’s Quay venue this Saturday, May 5th.
The zingy blend of El Jimador Blanco, blood orange, agave and lime is guaranteed to help you get in the mood.
You’ll need the energy boost too; Mexican dancers from Amdie Anahuac Mexican Dance Ireland will be joining street performers, fire breathers and flair bartenders to get the party started.
Expect a late one; there’ll be live music from Mariachi San Patricio, DJ Wilros, Fiesta Latina and Wil Rostran until 2:30am.
We might even return to the scene on Sunday… there’s nothing like a humongous helping of gooey nachos to fix a hangover.
Tickets are available here for €15.
