This bakery’s Pumpkin Spice Cruffin is the treat you MUST try this week

Hold onto your witch’s hat, Halloween fans.
A Cork bakery has concocted one of the most frighteningly delicious treats of the season and you can get your hands on it from today.
The Grumpy Bakers have been teasing their top-secret new cruffin flavour for autumn and we can reveal it’s Pumpkin Spice.
Part croissant, part muffin the cruffin marries the croissant’s flaky, buttery layers with the soft, fluffy texture of a muffin. The result is a spiral-shaped pastry that’s as decadent as it sounds.
The mouthwatering new Pumpkin Spice cruffin is made with a laminated pastry, filled with pumpkin pastry cream and topped with a milk crumble and pumpkin spice sugar.
Guaranteed to be a hit with all pumpkin spice lovers, it pairs perfectly with the bakery’s Pumpkin Spice latte too.
In addition to the new cruffin, The Grumpy Bakers have also unveiled a selection of other autumnal goodies, including a S’more Danish, a Blackberry Kouign Amann (a sweet Breton cake) an Apple Crumble turnover, a lemony Tropezienne Brioch from Saint-Tropez and a Ratatouille Savoury Danish.
All of the new flavours are available from today, Wednesday, October 4th at both of the bakery’s locations in Midleton and Washington Street, Cork City.
