This adorable Cork company will organise a tipi sleepover party for your kids
It’s tricky to impress a kid these days.
But if your discerning whippersnapper has a big event or a birthday coming up and you’re on the lookout for a way to celebrate in style, one magical Cork company has a guaranteed way to make it memorable.
Horizon Events will set up everything you need to host an extra-special sleepover tipi party in the comfort of your own home or in a bell tent in your garden.
From cosy pink camp beds festooned with fairy lights and floral decor to horse-themed set-ups that will delight any little animal lover and a neon party that will have all your guests giggling and dancing ’til well after bedtime, each set-up can be personalised to suit your child, with lanterns and breakfast trays at each setting.

The best bit? The Horizon Events team set everything up for you, then return when the fun is over to dismantle everything. All you’ll need to do is play caterer for the evening (oven pizzas and ice cream) and take a ton of photos for the family album.
A family-run business based in West Cork, Horizon Events began when owner and chief party planner Evelyn O’Brien found herself struggling to find a unique birthday party idea for her own young daughters, who were born in the winter when outdoor fun is mostly off the table.
“They both love having their friends over and this is when l thought about setting up tipi parties,” Evelyn told Yay Cork.
“I set up Horizon Events so l could take the stress away from parents. We come to your home and bring all you need for fun tipi and bell tent parties and come back and take it all down.”
