Everybody’s ditching unnecessary chemicals and packaging these days.

Now the hunt for natural cleaning products, compostable straws and environmentally-friendly household essentials just got easier; SuperValu is launching Ireland’s largest supermarket eco range.

The 65-product collection is being trialed in 12 stores nationally, including:

• O’Keeffe’s SuperValu, Bantry
• Scally’s SuperValu, Clonakilty
• Smith’s SuperValu, Kinsale
• Hurley’s SuperValu, Midleton

Just in time for back to school, there’s reusable and environmentally friendly lunch storage options and party ranges to help reduce packaging waste.

The full Ecover range of cleaning stuff, made with natural, plant-based ingredients, is there too.

Bee’s Wrap Sandwich wraps are a perfect solution for keeping school lunches fresh, while reusable Bamboo Towels replace kitchen towels and reusable organic cotton Terry cleansing pads can be used for removing make-up… then used again and again.

The best bit? Stocking up on reusable everyday essentials will save you money in the long run, as well as making you feel better about making green choices.

Where reusing isn’t an option, SuperValu will also be stocking everything from pure sugarcane bowls to compostable straws made from renewable energy sources.

Maybe it is actually easy, being green.
