There’s another Beaujolais Nouveau bash happening in Cork (move fast for tickets)

Attention wine buffs.
The first Beaujolais Nouveau Night hosted by L’Atitude 51 in the 18th Century Apple Market on Barrack Street is completely sold out but now there’s a second chance to taste the first French wine of the 2019 vintage in Cork.
Under French law, the Beaujolais nouveau is released at 12:01 am on the third Thursday of November and welcomed at parties throughout the country to celebrate the first wine of the season.
Now you can raise a glass at an informal tasting in the cosy bar of the Everyman Theatre on MacCurtain Street on November 21st, the day the light, fruity wine becomes available for sale.
The second Beaujolais Nouveau 2019 tasting will be hosted by Bubble Brothers and will kick off at 7.15pm.
“As well as two different wines in the Nouveau style, we’ll also be sampling some wines from the named villages—’crus’—in the north of the region.” they say.
“Though these are also relatively light and fruity wines, they’re more serious altogether and you may well decide they’re the perfect red for Christmas. We’ll be offering some appetisers of bread and cheese, but it’s not a dining event by any means—we’re there to celebrate lovely, lively Beaujolais Nouveau 2019!”
Tickets are €25 a head, or two for €45 available here.
