It’s like a scene from a Christmas card.
Every year, the residents of one of Cork’s oldest neighbourhoods join forces to turn their tiny street into a Christmas wonderland for the festive season.
And now you can join in the wholesome fun; there’s a house for sale on Needham Place.

No 14 Needham Place, Dunbar Street, just off Douglas Street, has hit the market at €260,000.
With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the terraced property needs little more than a lick of paint and some fresh carpet to turn it into a cosy base less than five minutes walk to St Patrick’s Street.
Throughout December, you’ll be returning home to a scene right from a Christmas card.
The two tight rows of homes near Red Abbey Tower in South Parish, regularly hit the headlines when the residents festoon their houses in twinkling lights and Christmas trees to bring some cheer to locals.
It all started during the Pandemic when residents young and old got together to support each other during the long days in lockdown by coming up with a plan to make their street sparkle once the dark evenings set in.
