There’s a super cute Easter themed treasure trail in Clonakilty this weekend

Hopping down west for the weekend?
If you’ve got the kiddos to entertain for the next few days, there are some charming little creatures hiding in plain sight in Clonakilty’s Model Railway Village… and it’s up to some very clever detectives to find them.
On Easter Sunday, the Trip Advisors Travel Choice Award Winner will be hosting a treasure trail for miniature-mad kids in Cork.
Young visitors will be given a picture card and an important task: find the unusual guests hiding among the village people, throughout the towns, in the fields and maybe even up a chimney.

This is not the first time the village has had some strange visitors in the peaceful community. On St Patrick’s Day, a knot of snakes was found slithering on the footpaths and at Christmastime, penguins, and snowmen somehow found their way into the neighbourhood, all the way from the North Pole.
Children can spend hours looking for the Easter-themed creatures and those who complete the trail will be in with a chance to win a free family pass for the centre.
Families can also take a trip on the exciting Model Railway Train that choo-choos its way around Clonakilty town. The West Cork Model Railway Village is open daily from 10 am and tickets can be booked through their website.
